Thanks in advance for your help!
PS: Its pronounced like Martain (Mar-Shen), like a little alien
It mus be hard to be married to an artist. How would you feel if you opened up the fridge and found this?

Or to come home and find your living room looking like this? (This is the cleaned up version!)
Yep. Paul must love me alot in order to put up with living with an artist! (It doesn’t help that my mom is one too!)

I was tag surfing through some blogs this evening. They were in German, because, well just because. The answer will have to do because the story is really to long to explain how my wordpress account is set up in german because my mac was set up in german….wait a minute.
The point is, chaos, showed me this great violinist. Enjoy.

I know most of you think that my life has been a drag lately so I wanted to share some of the fun things I’ve been doing with you to. So last night I went to Disneyland’s Halloween Time with Paul’s family. The kids were adorable and had a blast. Here are some pictures I took and I altered a little bit.

Who thought starting a business would be hard?
I just wanted to make pretty things and sell them. Ugh, there is so much paper work. Ugh, I have put off doing so much paper work. But work I still do. When has any of you known me not to be doing a million things a once? Thats what I thought, maybe I’ll get the lesson someday, but for now I’m just trying to get things started with Marchen Studios.
By the way, for those of you who would be interested save the evening of the 7th of December. Mom and I will be hosting an art party. We will have some of our stuff available to buy plus you can sign up before hand for a workshop we will be hosting. It will be very exciting.
And if you want to pity my webdesign skills you can check out our new web page.
Remember, I’m a baby designer.
Now to stop the rambling.

Hey everyone. My dad has finally posted something new. Check it out and give him some love.
This last year has just been full of really hard situations, relationships and experiences for me.
It just has.
The other day I was talking through some of these things with my dad.
Dad: I just hope that through all of this you have found some lesson to make it worthwhile.
Jess: Maybe the lesson wasn’t from the experiences. Maybe the lesson is now.
So I am still learning. I am still growing.
Mostly, I’m still hanging on for dear life.
Ich bin die Magd des Herrn.
I feel like I’m living a double life. Some things I share on my Märchen Studios Blog that I don’t share here. Mostly these are things about Art, starting the studio and connecting with other Artists. I have thought about posting stuff from that Blog twice, both there and here.
Thats just so much work.
so if you want to see another side of me, and hear a little bit from my mom, Martina, you can check us out here:

Also keep your eyes open because we will be hosting a small project space in December and registration will be online. At least I hope it will.
‘Till then.
